Leakage engineers, water - Belfast

They specialise in the provision of planning, design and management services for infrastructure development worldwide.

The Water & Power Business Group is looking for two Leakage Engineers to join the Water & Wastewater Skill Group in the Belfast Office, to work on the Leakage Management Services contract with Northern Ireland Water.

The role will involve working on DMA design and optimisation, pressure management, assisting with data collection and analysis through logging of flow and pressure in the network.

Candidates must have a minimum of an ONC / Eng Tech and should preferably have an HNC in Engineering or Engineering degree. A full clean driving licence is essential. The role will include some travelling throughout Northern Ireland for which a company vehicle will be provided.

Experience in design of DMA?s, setting up and monitoring PRV?s and pressure managed areas is desirable and it would be useful to have knowledge of Leakage Detection practices.

Candidates should be team players with good interpersonal skills, technically able, innovative and able to work effectively when working away from the office (possibly alone).
