Our client a leading FMCG company are looking to recruit an experienced Service Support Co-coordinator for their busy Grocery Order Management Team. You will be fully accountable for receiving and accurately processing full trailer load orders from the major grocery multiples (i.e. Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons etc.) across 7 days whilst managing appropriate delivery time slots. You will be the focal operational contact point with all allocated key account customers. Duties will include the following:- Accurately entering orders for RDCs and controlling rush order extracts against a 24 hour lead time for all customers, Call RDC customers to negotiate booking times for deliveries and re booking of failed deliveries. You will communicate daily with customers regarding Service Levels, Promotional Activity on associated orders, Stock Issues, Delivery issues and delivery timelines, so a high level of communication is essential. Previous experience of dealing with Grocery related customers would be a distinct advantage. Confident negotiating skills are also key as you will be required to negotiate with customers and customer depots with the objective of obtaining acceptance of late and refused deliveries. You will also negotiate with customers to obtain delivery days and times for promotions that will maximise service and efficiency for the Logistics Network. A high level of liaison will be required between depots regarding late and failed deliveries in order to promote delivery success. Our client is looking to appoint an individual with highly effective customer service skills to maintain strong working relationships with all key customers. Attention to detail is paramount due to the level of order input responsibility, ability to plan and control own work, analytical approach to problem solving, ability to work as an integral part of a team and communicate effectively with all colleagues and management. You will be fully conversant in using MS Office, Word, Excel, Presentations and e-mail with good keyboard skills. Ideally the successful candidate will be results driven, motivated and have the ability to deal with complex problematic situations. Communication, planning, problem solving and negotiation are all key attributes desired for this role.
