Cublington Cricket Club on the Bucks/Beds border, has a rapidly developing membership that encompasses a junior section of around 200 players aged 8-16 as well as turning out 5 senior teams over a weekend. The club has been the subject of awards and grants from various benevolent cricketing bodies and was awarded the prestigious CLUBMARK status in 2005. At present the club is run by a series of volunteer committees.
Due to personal circumstances and at short notice, our appointed coach cannot now fulfill his duties for the 2007 season therefore we are seeking a club coach who is prepared to give a few hours of his/her time a week working with most of our junior teams,
The ideal candidate will probably be a retired player, with coaching background or qualifications, who is looking to offer something back to the game and doesnt need to rely on the meagre expenses we can afford. Alternatively you may be a younger player/coach just starting out in the game who needs to add that bit of extra experience.
