Description

The trust and asset management team is part of the practice?s Wealth Preservation Group which provides wealth management and tax and estate planning (including creation of trusts), probate, wills and general affairs on behalf of private individuals.Trust and Asset Management : the provision of record keeping, accounting, legal documentation, tax issues, annual returns, trust correspondence and trustee responsibilities. The work includes trust terminations, implementing epas and receiverships, registering epas, receivership applications, client support services. Estates : administration of deceased persons? estates. Private capital - wealth management, tax and estate planning, trust advice, drafting wills, epas, trusts and associated documentationPartners : client relationship management; marketing, products and business development; precedent and processes development; knowledge management development; executors and trusteeships (via Cripps Trust Corporation Ltd where possible); training and development of group members. Whilst not heading up any of the above groups they will act as advisors and mentors for any area depending on their expertise. General administration of general management cases.

Key Areas,

Experience within a legal (ideally private client) environment, Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust administration and management. Knowledge of Trust taxation, including complex issues re: IHT, CGT & Income Tax. Ability to generate own correspondence as appropriate to the post. Solid competence and accuracy in producing IT work : wp, spreadsheets plus databases and other IT systems.
