Patent Attorney/Director - Sheffield

Our client is a Legal 500 listed firm of European Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys based in Sheffield, United Kingdom.

We seek a fully qualified CPA, EPA and ETMA for a long-term Patent and Trade Mark Attorney position at our Sheffield office.

Ideally, candidates with electronics/ software background are preferred, however other disciplines such as material science, general engineering would also be considered.

The role encompasses the full range of Intellectual Property encountered in a mid sized private practice patent & trade mark agency, with an opportunity for specialisation, dealing with our northern client base of SME?s and Universities

We seek a commercially minded candidate with strong inter-personal skills, high professional standards, commitment and enthusiasm. The role involves a high degree of client contact, and the usual business development activities of a private practice role.

In addition, there is the opportunity for an early directorship of the company for the right person. This role involves joint responsibility for management of the firm, and the full legal responsibilities of a UK company director. We expect to offer a directorship position within 6 months for the right candidate.
