We currently have an exciting senior role located in the East for our nationwide High Street Broker. The Company:
Our client is a national independent intermediary specialising in the provision of insurance and financial products for career people. They offer a full and appropriate product range that starts with students and continues through to retirement and beyond. Their existing policyholders are, therefore, predominantly career people and the aim is to provide for their every need.
They have over 1000 employees across the UK supporting the different, fully integrated, distribution channels. Their staff are trained to make decisions with the absolute minimum of bureaucracy and referral. In fact they are indeed recognised with an accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute for their sales staff.
Role and Key Responsibilities:

" You will carry out the management of a group of branches to ensure that sales targets and compliance standards are met.
" You will be in charge of training and coaching the Branch Manager teams to promote stability and improved standards.
" Use audit and appraisal to ensure that technical standards and staff performance are regularly reviewed and improved.
" Develop key staff for fast track progress and to ensure enough talent developing through in order to replace leavers.
" You will also be responsible for finding ways to encourage our customers to buy more from the client and to keep their insurance needs with the client to help them grow their already healthy client bank.

Skills, Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:

" You will be a motivator and able to set standards and ensure they are met.
" You will be able to recruit and develop Branch Managers and Advisors and build a team that can meet and exceed company targets.
" You will also be able to develop target markets and ensure that business growth occurs.
" You will be skilled, strong at building relationships with key contacts in the clients target markets and therefore at developing business
" A degree calibre candidate with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at C or above including Eng and Maths.
" CII qualifications an advantage.

Looking for in you:
A career focused sales manager ideally with insurance experience in either branch sales or brokers.
Mobile and eager to develop their own skills the ideal candidate will understand sales, targets, compliance and insurance products although product knowledge can be developed.

You will be eager to impact the business going forward and have a passion for high standards, developing staff and getting results.
