An outstanding opportunity has arisen for experienced sales people to join our client in their established Glasgow offices. Having generated huge premium income in 2005, and winning prestigious honours at the British Insurance Awards in 2006, they are looking to build on their success and Key Account managers are at the heart of this.
In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with a number of clients, generating new business sales and profitable repeat business. If you are a natural at building lasting rapport with people, whatever you have sold in the past, then we want to hear from you. In return, you can expect a competitive basic salary plus significant sales incentives that reward individual success.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
" Manage and develop an agreed portfolio of accounts, maximising profitable revenue
" Communicate and promote the company proposition, networking inside their clients organisations to ensure that buyers are fully aware of what the company can offer
" Identify and lead marketing opportunities and business development initiatives
" Lead or contribute to the negotiation of business terms and arrangements
" Monitor account performance and pipeline activities against agreed plans, ensuring targets are met
" Work in a team of people who are as interesting and motivated as you.
Skills, Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:
" A track record of success in a relationship based sales role
" The ability to establish and maintain external business relationships at all levels, and to identify and manage key influencers within client organisations
" Selling skills and techniques needed in order to retain and generate new business
" The confidence to deliver effective presentations and sales pitches to internal and external audiences
