We have a new vacancy with our long term High Street Intermediary client working in their Luton branch. This is an exciting opportunity for a service driven, pro-active and intelligent individual who is looking for a fantastic opportunity dealing with the personal insurance market. As this is a small and close team, insurance experience is an advantage but a ?hands-on? approach will be a daily requirement.

THE PERSON:
? Ideal candidates will be educated to A-Level (or equivalent) standard and be able to demonstrate the key skills required for outstanding customer service for an executive client with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
? A dynamic and driven character with a high attention to detail. You will have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to prioritise and organise your work load. You will be a tenacious character, a consummate professional and a telephone manner to match.
? You will enjoy closing business, exceeding client expectations and will believe that ?good enough is never quite good enough?.
? A CII basic insurance qualification would be highly advantageous but full training will be provided and applicants are fully encouraged to develop.

SAMPLE KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
? To arrange and secure new business and renewal policies at a competitive premium, completing all relevant documentation in line with FSA guidelines.
? Provide exceptional customer service for clients with minimum delay
? Ensure that all advice and operations remain compliant
? Take enquiries at via the telephone including new business quotations, payment, claims, mid term adjustments and general queries.
? Negotiating competitive premiums with underwriters on a bespoke basis or via the full cycle EDI network.
? Completing general administrative duties as necessary
? Customer confidentiality and understanding.
