Experienced Project Manager (permanent role) : Gloucester, Gloucs, up to £45,000 including 22 days minimum annual leave (subject to role), annual profit incentive bonus scheme, generous contributory pension, medical insurance, financial support for study.

We currently have a Project Manager vacancy for our esteemed Gloucester based insurer. Located in the Heart of England, neighbouring Wales and the Cotswold?s our client has excellent history and tradition in the insurance market and is a great place to develop your career out of the hustle and bustle of many of the London markets. They deal primarily with a niche sector of the market and have had a large presence here since their inception.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
? To manage projects in line with corporate strategy, standards and ethos.
? To meet business needs, utilising the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality
? Manage specific projects (IT and non-IT), successfully implementing to agreed timescales, cost and quality, to achieve planned benefits and objectives.
? Audit and monitor projects and the programme of projects as directed to ensure that project management standards are followed and that the programme and individual projects are being progressed effectively.
? Provide accurate reports for senior management, departmental team leaders and staff, relating to programme and project progress, as directed.
? Define and maintain procedures, standards, and templates relating to the project life cycle to support the effective delivery of the programme of projects.
? Act as a point of reference for project management, assisting other project managers, and assisting the team Leader in the motivation, development and performance of staff, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of service and the achievement of objectives.

Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:
? You will have solid experience of managing large scale technical and non technical projects and a proven track record of delivering these on schedule, within scope and to budget.
? You will be PRINCE2 accredited and ideally hold membership of MAPM or equivalent.
? Strong interpersonal skills are essential and you will need to be proactive, customer focussed and have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation, including the executive committee.
? Whilst the focus remains on implementing IT projects, and this will continue to be a significant element of the programme office mandate, it?s scope has widened to include the management of all major projects throughout the Company.

The Package:
