A once in a lifetime opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance Professional to join one of our clients? brand new businesses in their London office; as the CEO. With a solid first year business plan targeting a selective market, our client has optimistic plans to generate huge profit for the company and indeed the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer. Backed by an established Lloyd Underwriter, this really does have the ingredients only dreamed of by serious Business Managers looking to take control of their very own insurance business.
In this role, aided by newly recruited Sales Managers, you will build and maintain relationships with a number of clients, generating new business sales and profitable repeat business. This will inevitably be the first part of your role as CEO until your new team is fully established and settled into their respective roles. If you are a natural at building lasting rapport with people, have sold personal lines insurance and managed budgets and are extremely hands on then we want to hear from you. In return, you can expect a competitive basic salary plus significant sales incentives that greatly reward your individual success and the chance to hold the reigns right from the inception of this very exciting project.

The Company:

As a culmination of an established trust and Lloyd?s underwriter our client is new start up arm and requires the leadership and experience of a driven individual with superb business acumen. The trust helps the socially excluded to find work and has now turned its hand to providing the socially excluded an opportunity to buy insurance products traditionally inaccessible in the past by developing a range of personal lines products specifically tailored for this section of the community. They have ambitious plans to grow the business profitably within 18 months and as the CEO you will be directly involved in the day to running of the business and will have direct contact with the underwriter at Lloyds.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
? Manage and develop an agreed portfolio of accounts, maximising profitable revenue
? Communicate and promote the company proposition, networking your client base to ensure that buyers are fully aware of what the company can offer.
? Identify and lead marketing opportunities and business development initiatives
? Lead and contribute to the negotiation of business terms and arrangements
? Monitor account performance and pipeline activities against targeted plans, ensuring budgets are met
? Employ a team of people who are as interesting and motivated as you.

Skills, Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:

? A solid background in General Insurance, preferably with intricate technical knowledge of the personal lines market.
? Ability to recruit, develop and manage a senior team or personnel.
? A track record of success in a relationship based insurance sales role
? The ability to establish and maintain external business relationships at all levels, and to identify and manage key influencers within organisations.
? Selling skills and techniques needed in order to retain and generate new business
? The confidence to deliver effective presentations and sales pitches to internal and external audiences
? Must have had experience of full responsibility for profit and loss, staffing, budgets, marketing and business liability.
