A once in a lifetime opportunity has arisen for experienced Insurance Professionals to join one of our clients? brand new businesses in their London office; as a Business Development Executive. With a solid first year business plan targeting a selective market, our client has aggressive plans to generate huge profit for the company. Backed by an established Lloyd Underwriter, this really does have the ingredients only dreamed of by serious Business Managers looking to take control of their very own insurance career.
In this role, aided by the newly recruited CEO, you will build and maintain relationships with a number of clients, generating new business sales and profitable repeat business. If you are a natural at building lasting rapport with people, managing budgets, have solid personal lines insurance experience, have industry contacts and are extremely hands on then we want to hear from you. The Company:
As a culmination of an established trust and Lloyd?s underwriter our client is new start up arm and requires the leadership and experience of a driven individual with superb business acumen. The trust helps the socially excluded to find work and has now turned its hand to providing the socially excluded an opportunity to buy insurance products traditionally inaccessible in the past by developing a range of personal lines products specifically tailored for this section of the community. They have ambitious plans to grow the business profitably within 18 months and as a Business Development Executive you will be directly involved in the day to day sales and be in direct collaboration with the CEO.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
? Generating New Business opportunities from your industry contacts and prospects
? Communicate and promote the company proposition, networking the client base to ensure that buyers are fully aware of what the company can offer.
? Identify and lead marketing opportunities and business development initiatives
? Lead and contribute to the negotiation of business terms and arrangements
? Monitor account performance and pipeline activities against targeted plans.

Skills, Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:
? A solid background in General Insurance, preferably with intricate technical knowledge of the personal lines market.
? A track record of success in a relationship based insurance sales role
? The ability to establish and maintain external business relationships at all levels, and to identify and manage key influencers within organisations.
? Selling skills and techniques needed in order to retain and generate new business
? The confidence to deliver effective presentations and sales pitches to external audiences in both the High Net Worth sector and the sub prime sector.

You will be ambitious, driven, hard working and lively with the ability to get the job done. You will have the confidence to present at various levels and the past experience of developing high volumes of business in a niche sector. You will be a unique individual who wants to be part of a huge project and is willing to put in the effort necessary to reach that goal.
