We currently have an exciting senior role located in the East for our nationwide High Street Broker. The Company:
Our client is a national independent intermediary specialising in the provision of insurance and financial products for career people. They offer a full and appropriate product range that starts with students and continues through to retirement and beyond. Their existing policyholders are, therefore, predominantly career people and the aim is to provide for their every need.
They have over 1000 employees across the UK supporting the different, fully integrated, distribution channels. Their staff are trained to make decisions with the absolute minimum of bureaucracy and referral. In fact they are indeed recognised with an accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute for their sales staff.
Role and Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for approximately 20 branches throughout East London, Essex and East Anglia. Managing a team of multi-site managers each looking after up to 5 branches, they will report directly to you.

You will have responsibility for: -

" Strategy, influencing and inspiring others,
" Taking action to ensure targets are achieved and standards are improved.
" You will also be tasked with developing a high performing team.
" Developing our clients key markets and make key strategic decisions
" Evaluate personal and Team performances and where development and improvement is possible; you will be tasked with making it happen.
" You will also be responsible for finding ways to encourage our customers to buy more from our client and to keep their insurance needs there which helps to grow the client base by generating external enquiries through business to business relationships.


Skills, Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:

" You will need to be a skilled coach and motivator.
" You will also need to have strong organisational, planning, project management and recruitment skills.
" Ideally with insurance sales experience and a familiarity with compliance issues.
" You will also have strong budget management and people management skills.

Looking for in you:

" A degree calibre candidate with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at C or above including Eng and Maths.
" CII qualifications are a great advantage.
" An experienced sales manager ideally with multi-site insurance retail / broking background.
" Needs to have the ability to influence and inspire others,
" To develop and maintain a team that performs to high standards,
" To develop a team of managers to develop target market relationships, achieve consistently high standards and sales performance.
" You also need to think creatively to find solutions, evaluate processes and drive the business forward.

The Package:
