Sales Consultant - Business Development Manager - South West
My client is an independent UK-based supplier of IT solutions and services with over 20 years of experience in helping organisations understand, implement and manage their technology needs, they are recognised as a market leader in deploying and supporting network infrastructure solutions. The company is dedicated in maintaining a high level of attention to detail and an outstanding quality of service for all of its customers, both large and small.
The role of the Business Development Executive is to:
· Identify, target, contact and secure new business opportunities with a full understanding and appreciation of the services and product portfolio the company supplies
· Meet and exceed new business targets.
· Acquire new named accounts as trading customers
. Develop valuable, long term relationships with customers and key contacts
The ideal candidate should have
·Demonstrable track record of closing sales to new named customers
·Two years experience in the field of new business sales
·Track record of maintaining a wide network of contacts.
·Solid understanding of the IT services
.First class verbal and written communication skills
·A self starter needing low level management time and attention to perform day to day responsibilities
