Sales Consultant
A dynamic and forward thinking business that provides end to end technical Consultancy solutions to the SMB sector is now looking to recruit a talented Sales Consultant.
The Role & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the position is to develop new sales for a range of technical support and helpdesk services to grow revenues and margins in line with the business plan and agreed financial and performance targets.
Primarily the position will be responsible for executing a sales strategy of winning new support business although there will be a degree of account management once new contracts are secured.
To be successful, the candidate will be an experienced sales professional preferably with a technology background or experience of the IT Support marketplace. The role requires a candidate with exceptional communication skills both written and oral who is an experienced presenter to all customer levels including board level executives. In addition to selling support services, the role will require a degree of IT Solutions sales to be undertaken primarily into newly won accounts.
Key responsibilities of this role include;
Developing a personal sales plan and strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
To produce accurate monthly sales and forecast reports to track performance and achievements
throughout the sales cycle.
To ensure internal CRM systems are always up-to-date and accurately maintained.
To follow through on all sales and marketing campaign and lead generation activities in order to
maximise sales.
To attend customer meetings to present capabilities and identify sales opportunities
To attend promotional events such as seminars and exhibitions
To prepare and present professional sales proposals
Qualifications
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
Experience and aptitude for working in a customer orientated environment.
Experienced Account Manager.
Flair, determination, self-motivation and tenacity.
Passion and pride in your work and achievements.
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft based Networking Solutions and Client-Server technologies advantageous
