A leading supplier of ?state of the art? IT Solutions & Managed Service solutions within the Retail and Distribution market require a number of Java Developers to be based within their Head Office in Coventry. This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, growing business delivering leading edge technology to high profile international clients.

The successful candidates will work as part of a team developing and supporting retail software solutions for customers and specific products.

The Developers will be responsible for the following:

?Producing technical designs based on specifications from the BA?s
?Coding, documenting and testing of technical designs
?Resolving defects in existing code
?Liaising with Customer organizations

In addition to the above, Senior Developers will be responsible for:

?Coaching and mentoring less experienced developers
?Deputizing for the Project Manager

To be considered you must possess:

?Java 1.3/1.4/1.5 development experience (minimum 2 years)
?Ability to produce reliable estimates
?Object Orientated Design
?XML
?SQL
?For the Senior roles you must also have experience in coaching or mentoring junior developers

Any experience with the following would be useful:

?Servlets/JSP
?HTML/CSS
?Javascript
