Java Developer required for a new 3 month (+) contract role based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, South East.

As Java Developer you will assist a quickly growing, well funded start up company in the development of a major web application. You should have good knowledge of the design and construction of scalable Java web applications, solid OO design and programming skills, an ability to deliver within agreed interation timescales.

Your skills must include a mix of front end - Javascript, HTML and CSS, (prototype, script.aculo.us would be advantageous) and back end - Spring and Hibernate (an understanding of Lucene or MogileFS would be advantageous). You also will be experienced in the design of highly scalable web architectures and web application servers.

A passion for well engineered code and strong academics are highly advantageous. As is some knowledge of .Net / C#.
