IT Managed Services / Hosting Proposition Manager - UK with Travel

Package: £50-60k, Car, Bonus, Pension & Private healthcare

A leading supplier of IT software & Managed Service solutions within the public sector market require a IT Managed Services/Hosting Proposition Manager to develop and manage a solution-led approach for my clients portfolio of infrastructure, support and managed services offerings, which will include Infrastructure and Applications Solutions, Professional Services, remote Management Solutions, Break-Fix, maintenance services and Managed Hosted Services and/or outsourcing contracts.

In execution of your duties, you will:

? Manage the ?Managed Service Contracts? to the agreed Service Levels and client expectations
? Oversee the Managed Services Accounts on an ongoing basis to ensure maximisation of chargeable revenue.
? Ensure all procedures relating to the execution of the customer?s requirements are communicated in a timely manner to the client and sub-contracted staff responsible for servicing the needs of the customers both in and outside of service core hours.
? Monitor workloads via the appropriate management channels and in response to business requirements but in doing so ensure all staff comply with the SLA deadlines.
? Challenge any failures in customer service, product delivery or lost business opportunities.
? Negotiate and agree pricing for the proposed solution design in support of the sales process.
? Provide management and direction to your teams, acting as a role model, dealing as appropriate with difficult situations as they arise.
? Pro-actively support new business opportunities, the support and direction of the Sales Team to develop the core propositions and generate new business leads.
? Assist in the production of customer-specific proposals, and attend customer meetings and/or presentations as required.
? Provide accurate and timely monthly management information.
? Provide Managed Service Management, Development and service management of the Service Providers and the underlying solutions.
? Maintain detailed knowledge of the Managed Service markets so that my client can act as an intelligent Managed Service Provider.
? To assist towards the Strategy in increasing the adoption of Managed Services across the client base
? Promote the Managed Service Solution in specialist forums as required i.e. at conferences and seminars.
? Identify and drive through opportunities to increase visibility and footprint in market place

To be considered, you will need:

? An excellent understanding of Service Management key business issues and a track record in overcoming these issues utilising products, services and knowledge
? A good understanding of financial data analysis, qualification techniques and processes
? An excellent understanding of Service Management Business operations
? Effective and successful negotiation skills
? Good presentation and communication skills
? Excellent planning & organising experience
? Experience in leading virtual teams to deliver successful projects on time whilst meeting and exceeding customers? expectations
? Engaged, experienced and motivated at managing clients at management level.
? Competent negotiation and procurement ability.
