GIS Developer - London, Birmingham, Luton, Bath , Manchester, Leeds

Package: £30-37k, Pension & Private healthcare

My client, a leading supplier of software products & services within the Public & private sector market require a GIS Developer to assist with the analysis, design and development of their GIS Web & Windows based software products.

You will be responsible for:

?Analysis, Design and Development of applications for software products with emphasis on GIS development (Web and Windows)
?Technical and alpha testing of software
?Software documentation
?Providing support for customers on .Net products
?Offering support to other staff within both the department
?Other tasks, as required

To be considered you will need:

?2-3 years application development experience within GIS Environment
?Analysis and Design skills
?An interest in GIS development
?Some web development experience
?Creative problem solving/troubleshooting skills
?Quality focussed
?Team player
?Good Communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with other developers, technical admin staff, customers, directors and others as required both verbally and in writing.

Any experience with the following would be useful:

?C#, ASP.Net development experience
?Knowledge of spatial databases
?Previous experience of integrating with GIS applications, ESRI & MapInfo
?Oracle / SQL Server experience
?XML/XSLT
