Development Project Manager - Coventry

A leading supplier of ?state of the art? IT Solutions & Managed Service solutions within the Retail and Distribution market require a commercially astute Development Project Manager to be based within their UK HQ and to travel to UK and European customer sites. This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, growing business delivering leading edge technology to high profile international clients.

The successful candidate will fully manage all aspects of software development projects through the full project lifecycle in the delivery of new and enhanced solutions to their extensive client base.
This includes:
? managing, leading and motivating the development teams (agile development)
? managing all aspects of project development
? controlling financial aspects of the projects (budgets)
? working closely with the customers, setting customer expectations and delivery timescales, (1/2 days per week on customer sites)

Salary range is £50 - £60K + car allowance.

To be considered you must possess:

? 4+ years experience within managing software development project teams
? Strong people management skills
? Experience of delivering software products or applications to external customers
? Strong customer relationship management skills
? Knowledge of OO development methods and languages (ie. Java)
? Practical commercial experience of Agile development methods

Any experience with the following would be useful:

? Knowledge of retail business or supply chain
? Formal Project Management training or Qualifications
