C++ Software Engineer IT Role Edinburgh

C++ Software Engineer needed for a market leading medical company based in Edinburgh.

Are you a C++ programmer looking for a new challenge and wanting to breaking into the Microsoft market place? If so this role is for you! My Edinburgh based client, is looking to take on board a number of C++ developers to aid with the migration from C++ to C#. C#.Net in the research and development team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the implementing, unit testing and documenting of software systems. You should have a good degree or equivalent in computer science or related subjects such as Maths or Physics. You should also have solid commercial experience with in a demanding development environment and be familiar with factors that affect software performance, and also be able to write code that is maintainable, extensible and efficient.

Knowledge of object orientated programming is a must for this role including either C++ or C#. Knowledge of Scrum, extreme programming and iterative development would be advantageous but not necessarily essential.
