Application Packager - IT : South Yorkshire (3 Month Contract) - Package: Market Rate

A leading supplier IT software & services company require an experienced application packager to work within a small infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

?To MSI package key business applications for deployment via System Centre Configuration Manager 2007 (SCCM)
?Produce high quality application packages for desktop deployment. Packages must be produced adhering to a best practice approach and within required timescales.
?This role requires extensive experience of application packaging tools (WISE), desktop operating systems and troubleshooting Microsoft Vista Operating Systems and desktop applications.
?The ability to identify and understand the prerequisites and interdependencies between packages in the environment coupled with knowledge of the Windows registry, group policies and desktop security.

Skills Required:

?Expert knowledge of MSI application packaging using Wise Package Studio
?Good working Knowledge of VBscript
?Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment or BDD 2007
?Knowledge of System Centre Configuration Manager 2007 or SMS 2003
. Knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory and Group Policy
?Knowledge of Windows Vista Operating System
