2nd Line Support Engineer required for a new 3 month contract opportunity based in Warwick, Midlands.
As 2nd Line Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing 2nd line support services for all employees across various sites in Warwick.
Your primary responsibilities will be to: answer and log support calls, provide telephone support to rectify hardware, software and operating system faults, escalate calls as required to 2nd line support, ensure records on software / hardware are accurate and up to date, manage and document data backup and recovery procedures, set and and install hardware / software based upon standard configurations.
Skills: Previous Desktop Support , MS Windows and Office suites (Office 2003, Office 2007), PC / Printer fault diagnosis, PC / Printer set up and configuration, Networking / TCP/IP, Exchange 2003, Remote Access (i.e., to fix calls), some PC builds and deploying of builds would be desirable.
