We are seeking an experienced HR generalist to work as Senior HR Advisorfor a fast-paced, dynamic, busy, specialist recruitment agency. The role is to start mid-Feb and is for three months, possibly extend to nine, based seven minutes walk from London Bridge tube station with 2 days per week in Essex (expensed).
The role is to support the existing small HR team in playing their critical role in meeting the company?s objectives, in a way that reflects a customer orientated organisation that can respond effectively to changing needs. Day to day you will act as HR Adviser to divisional management on key HR policies and procedures, and the efficient delivery of a generalist HR service. This will include wide ranging ER work, in particular grievances and disciplinaries, helping with training and development initiatives, contributing to job evaluation and performance management schemes, provision of management information, while helping the company meet its commitment to equal opportunities and operating best practise.
You will have substantial generalist experience at HR Advisor level, be comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment and be familiar with working with Microsoft Office products and HR systems. You must be numerate and literate and be up-to-date with UK employment law and HR practise.
There will be involvement in their internal recruitment process so a knowledge of dealing with all stages of the recruitment process, including job design, incorporating modern selection methods, and appointment administration would be useful.
