Our Client is a multi- national food logistics and facilities provider. Within their Site Services Division they are currently seeking a Personnel / HR Administration Manager to be based in Kabul, the Capital of Afghanistan.
Reporting into the Finance and Administration Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of administration in relation to the Personnel and HR section of our clients Site Services Division.
As part of the role the successful candidate will be responsible for the gathering of data, compile information, prepare reports, invoicing and liaising with colleagues and other members of the HR Department.

Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an experienced Personnel - HR Administration specialist or possibly an accomplished Office or Administration Manager where you have had responsibility for maintaining personnel records.
In addition to possessing knowledge of HR and Personnel administration systems and procedures you should also have some knowledge of generalist human resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
You should ideally have knowledge of accounting procedures involving travel and transportation and you should also have sufficient knowledge to manage building security and safety procedures as appropriate to the operating environment
Superb communication skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You should possess excellent communication skills in English and ideally one other language and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be IT / PC literate - Microsoft Office. Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications would be ideal.
This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished HR Administration professional looking for something different. Whilst our Clients operation is somewhat unique they are in it for the long term and accordingly they seek a minimum of 12 to 18 months commitment.
The basic salary is paid in US Dollars and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is an annual profit share bonus payable which is also paid in US Dollars and tax free to an Ex-Patriate employee.
Accommodation, laundry, local transport, health insurance and meals are provided free. In addition employees have the use of a phone to call family and friends and also the internet for e-mails etc.
Western Ex-Patriate employees will receive 63 days annual leave per year and the working rota is approximately 14 weeks on, 3.5 weeks off.
Western Ex-Patriate employees will receive 3 paid return economy flights per year and Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
