This well-established defence and engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Human Factors Consultant.

In this role, you will work on a variety of programmes in either military (naval platforms, aircraft, armoured vehicles) or commercial (rail, avionics, research) environments. The role will involve practical application of HF theory, analysis and design techniques to projects and research work. You will prepare technical reports, promote HF capabilities to customers and client presentations and produce presentations and bids.

You must have several years? experience in the practical application of Human Factors in an industry setting, specifically HCI design, control room design, task analysis, workload analysis, human reliability and/or training needs analysis. An appropriate HCI, Ergonomics or Occupational Psychology qualification, preferably to postgraduate level, is essential.

On a personal level, you are an excellent communicator and presenter, self-motivated, and comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.
