Our client is a aviation service provider based nationally across the UK.
We are looking for a talented HR manager who can join there existing team based at Luton airport on a interim contract initially for six months.
Reporting to the Senior HR manager the job role consists of the following;
Purpose:
To support the Regional Operational Manager in all aspects of HR to successfully deliver the outcome from the strategic review group and implement business plans.
Main duties and responsibilities
? To build key relationships with all levels of management across the business working as a business partnership.
? To deliver training and coaching to all levels of staff and management within the business to ensure continuous development.
? To support in the development of good industrial relations within each station and to build key relationships with both local and regional union officials.
? To promote the effective management of people through the application of standard company procedures across the stations and feel confident in giving advise to all levels of management and staff.
? To research current legislation ensuring that it is shared with the rest of the H.R. team and policies are updated and communicated accordingly.
? To attend and contribute at the bi-monthly HR Meetings.
? To be fully conversant in all aspects of employment law including complex TUPE transfers, and effective restructuring plans, employee Relations matters such as preparation for Employment Tribunals and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
? The ability to support the management team on the delivery of key change management projects on time within budget and in line with clear objectives.
? To support the management team in the deliver of manpower plans and to introduce and develop a wide range of methods of recruitment across the business to ensure maximum flexibility with clear and consistent recruitment processes.
? To provide innovative, contemporary and cost effective solutions to the management team within your regions on all HR related issues.
? To build relationships with local universities to attract graduates into the industry.
? To build a database of terms and conditions for key competitors to ensure we remain competitive within the industry.
? To support the training manager and operational management team in the deliver of the management development programmes across the business to build a talent management bank across the regions.
? To support the Head of HR in the delivery of the HR Strategy to deliver the corporate business plan.
? To ensure the effective use of HR systems within your regions.
? To support the management team in the delivery of effective communication within the region, including contribution to the aviance board report, briefing mechanisms and employee surveys.
