HR Officer (Part time) 22.5 hrs (days to be agreed), London City, £23,500 - £26,500 per annum (pro-rata) An opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer (part time) role to join an International Health Care Organisation that is the only specialist UK charity which responds worldwide with vital health care and medical relief. You will be responsible for providing a professional and effective human resource service to London head office staff. This role is also responsible for reviewing and improving HQ HR policies & procedures, and for leading on specific HR projects and initiatives. . Role Manage the recruitment process for all London Head office appointments Provide specific advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of HR issues Design, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice Lead specific HR projects and initiatives Maintain and develop HR information systems and processes Manage the head office payroll through an external bureaux Essential
CIPD part-qualified
Good working knowledge of current UK employment law
Strong experience of providing a broad range of high quality HR policy advice (including disciplinary and grievance) to managers and staff Strong experience of managing and undertaking a high quality high volume recruitment process Strong experience of undertaking and supervising payroll Strong experience of developing and delivering HR policies, procedures, and projects Strong experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues Strong experience of developing and communicating HR management information Excellent written and spoken English, High level administrative and organization skills Confident user of MS Office and HR databases Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, including the ability to communicate Experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues Experience of a flexible approach to managing and prioritising a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines Experience of proactively identifying and addressing issues
Ability to work occasional evenings (approx. 1 per month to attend information evening) and weekends (approx. 2 -3 per year)
