HR Officer - Croydon, London - Competitive salary (minimum £30k plus) and monthly profit share scheme
Our client based in Croydon is one of the biggest and prestigious organisation is looking for an HR Officer. You will be integral part of the business, with close regular contact with the Unit HR team and a scope which covers all facets of the human resources function from strategy to the usual day-to-day tasks.
Responsibility for providing a ?best in class? human resources service to the Construction Economic Surveyors Division of the Management, Economics and Consulting Unit. Development and maintenance of a set of key HR metrics and provision of reports, statistics and costs analysis figures / Management Information, when required, Participation in the divisional business planning cycle, Ensuring compliance with all legislation and corporate directives, Production of monthly status reports for management meetings, Attendance at Management and Divisional Operations/Executive board meetings across various UK regional offices/sites to discuss human resources-related issues as may be required, Assisting in the development of the Graduate HR Officer. Strategy & Thought Leadership. You will also be responsible for other HR activities like: development of a performance-based culture and long term resource planning; Divisional retention plan, staff turnover, good knowledge of the UK?s employment legislation, Dealing with employee relations issues such as advising on maternity, holding exit interviews, conducting return to work interviews and dealing with day to day issues through to resolution, Responsibility for the management of disciplinary cases and grievances, Handling redundancy situations, Compensation & Benefits, salaries reviews, Liaison, with payroll finance and pension.
Key Skills,
CIPD, Degree level qualification, Good sound knowledge of employment law, procedures and processes as well as the ability to communicate succinctly and professionally. Employee Relations, HR strategy, experience of delivering HR best practice.
