HR Advisor (Full time) - NW / London - £31,123

Our client the leading UK charity is looking for a dynamic generalist HR Advisor to Manage the full recruitment process, draft contracts, maintain and monitor records, including comprehensive equal opportunity statistics, induction programme, payroll are processed accurately and promptly and sent to Payroll by 10th of each month.
Maintain a written/electronic record of the information sent to Payroll, Ensure sickness absence records are maintained and kept up to date for each employee.
Advise managers on implementing the sickness absence policy.
Maintaining HR database for monthly statistics regarding volunteering, staffing, recruitment, equalities, discipline, grievance, sickness absence, starters, leavers and staff turnover, staff appraisals.
Ensure comprehensive range of HR policies and procedures, prepared in liaison with the HR Director and updating where required.
Provide advice on employment law, terms and conditions and employee relations matters to managers and staff.
Advise managers, staff and support to directors, on the full range of issues and tasks relating to the function, including recruitment, discipline, grievance, staff appraisal, employee relations, Human Resources record keeping and staff development.
Assist the HR Director in developing and supporting the organisation?s Human Resources Strategy, Key Performance Indicators, Management development Programme, Competency Framework and Volunteering Strategy and internal communications.
Essential Requirements
CIPD qualified/member or working towards
Advising managers on recruitment, disciplinary and grievance, sickness absence, employment Law, and employee relations, issues.
Writing HR policies and procedures
Managing the full recruitment and selection process.
Operating a job evaluation scheme.
Preparing contracts and letters of appointment
Carrying out HR projects.
Knowledge and ability to calculate pay rates, pro rata salaries and annual leave.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, Computer literate in word and Excel
