Our Client is a building contractor covering the South East of England, including London. From their operational centres at Aylesford and Crawley, they undertake a wide range of traditional new build projects in both the private and public sectors. Their Site Services and General Works operations are also located at Aylesford together with the head office, HR, accounts and secretariat functions. This division, based in Bromley offers the complete Specialist Refurbishment and Interiors Fit Out capability working on many national and landmark buildings in the Central London area.
Requirements
Candidates need to have a good standard of education, be capable of learning and further developing their HR skills and be able to show a good understanding and awareness of the demands of a construction business.
Responsibilities
Provide HR administrative service.
Coordination and assistance in recruitment and selection.
Provide assistance in arranging and coordinating inductions and exit interviews.
Assisting in the company disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Provide assistance in the administration of training & development programmes.
Preparation and drafting of company newsletter.
Any ad-hoc tasks to assist in the smooth running of the HR Department.
The Individual
Must have HR administrative experience.
Ideally, have a Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP).
Confident communicator both verbally and in writing.
Calm and diplomatic but also assertive when required.
Enthusiastic and motivated.
Pragmatic approach and able to use initiative where necessary.
I.T. literate
