The general Purpose of this role is to demonstrate a close involvement in the day to day business of the branch to maximise profitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the sales, interviewing and administrative skills of branch staff. You will ensure branch profit is achieved by coupling maximum temp bookings with high margin and highest number of hours possible. You will control overheads so that profitability is maintained and pre-set budgets are achieved.

You will monitor the clients perception of the level of service offered through client visits and phone checks. Monitor the matching of bookings to temps by occasionally assisting in filling bookings. You will be known by all user clients through constant rapport building, present the monthly reports and forecasts at all area meetings and plan the branchs activity and set objectives weekly. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing and above all motivating staff.

Head the drive for effective sales effort through leads supply and close monitoring of staff, ensuring all Encore and Department of employment administrative practices are adhered to. You will effectively use management information and maintain discipline. Ensure continuous flow of all types of temporary staff by way of cost effective advertising and company promotion, upholding Encores image and policies at all times.

Your duties will involve holding regular staff appraisals, Control overheads (particularly Ad and Taxi) by not exceeding branch budget, chair branch meetings and dealing promptly and accurately with all pay and invoice queries, whilst adhering to responsibilities as defined in the Quality Manual.

This can be a pressurised and busy environment which is very people orientated. Requirements for suitable candidates are that you must have evidence of at least 4 years recruitment experience with a degree of sales ability and position of seniority or a minimum of 2 years recruitment management experience. We require someone with Managerial ability and strong leadership skills. You will have the ability to plan ahead and organise the work of others along with the ability to communicate at all levels.

We need someone with a good sales ability but who can also be diplomatic with regards to confronting issues immediately and assertively with exceptional negotiation skills. You will have the ability to work under pressure with a high degree of listening skills and will be self motivated, assertive, competitive, ambitious and positive whilst being personable at the same time.
