Radiography Manager required for Private Healthcare Clinic : Based Guildford
Salary circa 35K+ (depending on experience)

Our client is a rapidly developing private healthcare organisation who have a strategic goal to work in partnership with the NHS and private sector, to run and continually develop a CT scanning service. The specialist areas of work include Calcium Screening and CT angiography and Virtual Colonoscopic procedures.
As a forward thinking and truly independent company, they are committed to developing facilities to provide treatments that are proven to be efficacious, with progress that is demonstrable to the patient, private medical insurers, large corporations and the NHS.

Main job responsibilities:

- Discussion of CT examinations with patients and referring clinicians
- Day to day management of the clinical activities of the centre, including adherence to agreed clinical protocols
- Carry out IV injections for the purpose of administering radiographic contrast agents
- Producing and analysing images for patients, in conjunction with the Radiologist to high standards, including burning CDs for patients and members of the medical health profession.
- Operating a pump injector when required
- Liaison with suppliers and members of the team regarding system faults and service days
- Recruitment and training of suitably skilled and experienced radiographers, to cover for holidays and absence.
- Ordering and maintaining consumables and be responsible for stock control.
- Developing administrative protocols.
- Ensuring patients have a clear understanding of the examination and reporting systems.

Requirements:
- Candidates must be qualified Radiographers/Radiologists.
- Preferably 5 years + experience working within CT Radiography or similar.
- Understanding and knowledge of radiation projection regulations.
- Some experience of clinic management would be an asset.
- Hard working.
- Strong communication skills to deal with patients and make them feel at their ease.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.

Package:

Circa 35K basic salary + other benefits
