Are you an outstanding science graduate with some work experience looking for an analyst role with the potential for a route into consultancy?

In this role you will identify, abstract and analyse information to support project work which is predominantly, although not exclusively, healthcare and life-science related. The project work undertaken by the group includes technical and commercial due diligence studies, market assessment and business creation and technology/innovation management and evaluation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- responsibility for clearly defined desk-based research and analysis of results for client projects
- interviewing scientific, medical and industrial opinion leaders for client projects or internal studies
- preparation of company information and identification of issues to support business development efforts
- presentation of findings to internal teams and clients
- potential to support design and development projects
- assist in the generation and modelling of project-specific data within a wide range of market variables

In order to be considered for this role you will need the following as a minimum:

- good degree, perhaps medical or technical based, life sciences (preferably physiology/pharmacology, biochemistry or biophysics), or business studies
- Interest in the bio-medical and life science technologies and their commercial application to the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical instrument and biotechnology industries
- Analytical approach : the ability to distil results is essential. Good knowledge of database and spreadsheet tools will be a distinct advantage.
- Foreign languages will be a distinct advantage : any of French, German, Spanish, Italian
- You must be a clear thinker with excellent written and oral skills, a well organised approach and competent IT skills
