Analyst (Data) : Basildon, Essex - Negotiable

Description:

Our client, a leading UK healthcare information specialist, is looking to recruit an Analyst to join their team. They publish a range of printed directories, databases and maps as well as having produced an innovative online subscription based healthcare reference tool which offers a complete portfolio of market access products specifically tailored for the pharmaceutical industry.

As the Analyst you will be working in a client facing team, the main purpose of this job is to deliver and maintain Market Access data and reports to internal and external customers. Key activities will include:

Maintain data in the Insight, Clinical Activity and DMI products
Provide technical support for the Insight, Clinical Activity and DMI products
Produce adhoc data extracts upon request
Deal with client queries
Provide cover for other roles in the team

The position would suit a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of using Microsoft Excel and Access. The key skills that the successful candidates will need to demonstrate are:

o Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access

o Good knowledge of SQL server

o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

o Excellent customer focus

o Strong team player with collaborative working skills

o Clear ability to work effectively with databases
