Account Director : Healthcare Communications - Cambridgeshire

A Market leader in Healthcare Communications and strategic development seeks an experienced Account Director to nurture and lead Healthcare PR programmes for leading pharmaceutical clients. Key responsibilities within the role will include liaising directly with clients in regards to potential new business opportunities and ensuring that the discussion, documentation and delivery is carried out to meet their required needs. You will be expected to communicate with the finance teams regarding programme costing and budget and liaise with the in house teams to ensure workloads, programme status and resource requirements are being met.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a profound understanding of the market coupled with an aptitude for developing new business. Ideally you will have spent 3-4 years within a Medical Education or Communications agency environment. Through this experience you will have developed both account and line management skills and be a confident and articulate interface for the client. Experience of providing marketing support to pharmaceutical clients would be seen as a definite advantage
