Our Client is looking for a Senior Pensions Administrator to assist in the administration of the company?s pension scheme. On a day to day basis, any one of the following tasks will be required of an administrator and by definition the trainee will be required to undertake these duties as part of their traineeship. Manual and system generated calculations.Processing investments/disinvestments.
Production of letters/statements.Quoting and actioning pension scheme members benefits from the pensions administration system. Telephone contact with members. Telephone contact with third parties, e.g. Fund managers, financial advisers. Assisting in the production of annual benefit statements
Working with the team.Interaction with colleagues from other departments.Supervisory role.Most of the work is targeted. These targets are based on payroll cut-off dates and timescales dictated by legislation.
A minimum of two years experience is required and the candidate should preferably be studying for/or willing to study for the QPA/PMI qualification. They should also be able to demonstrate a numerical aptitude. Computer literacy and keyboard skills are necessary, as is a good and professional telephone manner. Attention to detail is also important and the candidate should be a good team player and be able to communicate well.
