Paraplanner required for our client based in Slough.

Position Objective
To provide technical administration support in respect of both new and existing business generated by the team in the London and Thames Valley office.

To liaise and inform of any problems relating to work as necessary.

To be involved in initiatives and to act as a conduit between the Practice?s London and Thames Valley offices

To deliver all work as requested by Financial Planning Manager and to deal with all administration and servicing requirements.

The role will require a sound knowledge of the main areas of our clients Financial Services business.

Specific Matters
?Ensure all requirements for servicing work are forwarded in a prompt and efficient manner.
?Ensure that internal (Back Office) operating systems are fully and properly utilised.
?Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge relating to core product areas and surrounding legislation.
?To maintain a diary system and operate in an efficient professional manner.
?To ensure that a register of policy documents and cheques is maintained in accordance with ICAEW rules.
?Research and prepare solutions to client needs.
?Process work as directed. This will require a broad industry knowledge.
?Dealing personally with non-routine items, ensuring that a high standard of service is maintained and refer any problems initially to the Financial Planning Manager concerned so they may be dealt with. Keep a record of all telephone conversations to ensure that, where appropriate, the client partner is also kept informed of on-going matters.
?Processing new business applications. This includes initial vetting, pre input checks, underwriting acceptance, policy production, policy distribution, ensuring data held is up to date and correct.
?Ensuring that compliance and money laundering procedures are strictly adhered to.
?Identify items of servicing work for existing business. Forward this to the appropriate Financial Planning Manager.
?Deal effectively with the team, policy holders, partners and any other introducers with regard to problems as they arise. Keep all interested parties advised of all relevant information whilst not committing the company or Financial Planning Manager to any specific course of action.
?Identify problems and advise all interested parties.
?Review suitability letters once drafted for grammatical and spelling errors.
