ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA Qualified. You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and exhibit strong attention to detail. You must be able to communicate in writing and verbally and work on your own initiative to efficiently prioritise the workload. You will need to manage highly sensitive information with discretion Advanced knowledge of Excel and other accounting packages is highly desirable.

Some of the many duties encompassed within this senior role will be to assist the Financial Controller and, in turn, the Director of Finance, in the provision of timely accurate financial management information.

You will have responsibility for review of monthly financial statistics prior to distribution, including Key Performance Indicators and utilisation reporting. You will oversee the preparation of monthly LLP accounts (P&L & BS) including review of accounts & internal audit cross checks, before passing to Financial Controller.
Reviewing the work of and overseeing the responsibilities for the UK Management Accountant Review of monthly Financial Statistics statement. Preparation of the detailed monthly commentary explaining business performance and cost variance to budget. Monthly analysis of sensitive payroll information for inclusion in the month-end accounts. Provision of monthly commentary. Maintain departmental contribution model for ad hoc presentation as required. Post journals onto finance software (SmartStream).Understand and produce report from reporting tool (OutlookSoft).
Review Monthly OutlookSoft / Dream reconciliations prepared by the UK Management Accountant.
Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors, your responsibilities include compliance with all accounting standards and guidelines. Understanding the European business, with the aim of providing cover in the Europe Accountants absence. Treasury management (in conjunction with the Financial Controller).
