This role as an Investment Research Analyst/Fund Manager involves selecting both retail funds and institutional fund managers for use within my clients extensive range of multi-manager products and single-strategy funds. For multi-manager portfolios, the role also involves portfolio construction and fund blending. the focus of the role is the selection of the ?best of breed? investment managers focussed upon Fixed Income. Applicants should possess a good degree, preferably in a finance-related or numerate subject (Progress to CFA is preferred), combined with a minimum of 4 : 5 years? experience in investment research and fund manager selection or a background in fixed income (portfolio management, product management etc). The ideal candidate ideally will possess significant expertise in fund manager research and portfolio construction and a strong awareness and knowledge of current investment industry trends. A strong knowledge of Fixed-Income markets and Fixed-Income strategies is also required. The Analyst will have full accountability for performance of their researched funds and be expected to play a key role in supporting senior management, distribution channels, marketing and sales activities. You will possess an excellent working knowledge of investment strategies and investment markets, be results oriented, self-directed and motivated with a strong orientation towards entrepreneurial activities, have excellent knowledge of fixed income markets combined with first class interpersonal and communication skills. Certifications: IMC or CFA Charter Holder
