Account Director London (The City) Basic £65K (OTE potentially £200K)

The effective management of real-time systems is more important than ever in todays fast moving financial markets. The growth in electronic trading and the steady rise of the Internet have all added to the complexity - and the cost - of your business. And its going to get even harder to stay on top as more vendors enter an increasingly open marketplace.

Our client understands that real-time means real-time - not one minute, five minutes or 10 minutes after the event. You get an up-to-the second, comprehensive view of your systems and instant notification of application and system issues before they become a problem.

More than 80% of the worlds top 50 banks - measured by tier one capital - are our client?s customers, using their technology to manage their systems.

Key Experience / Background Factors
Systems management understanding and investment banking experience : these are the two most important things that you must have experience in (e.g. worked in investment banking, commercial, into software)

An individual who has had experience in Account Management, Business Development, sales, global communication, owning a target and building a business plans.

Highly experienced (at least 10 years), ability to map an account (players, process, timescales, organizational structure : understanding this), someone who sees the vision for the business and how this can best serve the client.

Someone who has similar size of deals as our clients - multi million pound (average sale cycle : 6 months to 18 months) agreements.

Our client needs someone who can fit in with the existing team and get things done : the ambition to grow the business, be articulate and professional (charming), inquisitive : want to always understand more, and have entrepreneurial flare.

Role Specific competencies:
Someone who has worked for a big company (large organization) and a small company : need to be able to see the vision, the big picture but also be comfortable working for a company which is in a growth period.
