We currently have a statistician vacancy for our esteemed Gloucester based insurer. Role and Key Responsibilities:
Due to impending maternity leave of one of the Business Statistics team, an opportunity has arisen for someone to join the team for a period of 10/11 months.
The primary focus of the role will be to work on the setting of reserves across all GI business units, as well as significant input in the process management of reserving.
Qualifications and Previous Experience Required:
You will need to have sound reserving experience and a relevant qualification in Statistics. Knowledge of both spreadsheets and reserving packages is essential (ResQ/ResQ Pro). You should also possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work to deadlines and within a regulatory environment, a commitment to high levels of accuracy and good communication skills.
