Senior Environmental (IPPC) Consultant - Glasgow. Competitive salary plus benefits.

Our Client is seeking an experienced candidate help grow their expanding industrial permitting business. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in technical consultancy, regulatory or industrial role managing regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of the UK Environmental Regulatory framework and in particular the requirements of IPPC. Candidates will ideally have a process engineering background or have a strong technical knowledge in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g. air quality, hydrology etc.). Experience of environmental management systems would also be a distinct advantage as would experience in the renewable energy field (i.e. biomass).

Candidates should have good project management and report writing skills and should also be experienced in client management, tender writing and in business development. Membership of the relevant professional body is considered an advantage (IEMA, IES, CIWEM, CENV), although relevant experience will also be taken into account.
