Our client, an oil and gas service/rental company is looking for an experienced QHSE Advisor to be based at their premises in Dundee. This role will also cover premises in Warrington and Hemel Hempstead.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years experience and knowledge of operating in a similar role, and will hold an appropriate Q/HSE qualification.

Job Purpose:
Day to day responsibility and ownership for the QHSE activities related to this rental business. To maintain and retain the ?triple certification? - ISO 9001 : ISO 14001 : OHSAS 18001 standards currently held by the company and division.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Supervise the implementation and revision when appropriate of the companys Quality, health and safety and environmental policies.
2. Carry out regular audits internally & externally of all work areas to ensure that the QHS&E standards are being complied with and implemented.
3. Investigate and record all accidents / incidents and recommend corrective actions.
4. Review absences due to accident or injury at work and notify reportable occurrences.
5. Ensure adequate safety and first aid records are maintained.
6. Ensure that the safety training needs of the company are fulfilled.
7. Bring to the notice of managers and supervisors all relevant statutes, regulations and codes of practice.
8. Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for safety improvements as required following the assessments.
9. Liaise with company QHS&E Managers with regards to any QHS&E issues to ensure a consistent resolution is achieved.
10. Take an lead roll in initiatives such as: environmental team: sustainability reports: management meetings etc.
11. Liaise with external registration bodies, Lloyds etc on audits and legislation.
12. Carry out systems and process review, advise/agree changes and implement.
13. Administer company?s First Point Assessment accreditation.
14. Administer company?s UVDB accreditation.
15. Attend training to develop relevant personal knowledge and skills.
16. Ensure all QHSE standards are implemented across Oil & Gas and Industrial Rental business lines.
17.Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
