Consultant or Senior Consultant in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management and Auditing. Aberdeen / Glasgow - Salary negotiable plus benefits

Role: . The role is principally to support an on-going HSE auditing project for one of the Company?s key clients. The candidate needs to
(a) hold a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Occupational Health and Safety qualification)
(b) be experienced in conducting health, safety and environmental audits
(c) have a reasonable understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental legislation, management systems (including OHSAS 18001) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
(d) be qualified as Auditors or Lead Auditors (preferably also registered with IRQA or IEAMA).

The post could either be a full-time staff or on contract. The location will be Aberdeen (preferable) or Glasgow. Audits will be conducted mainly on the premises of companies based in the UK (principally around Aberdeen, but also at other locations in the UK). Auditors will also have to travel to locations in Europe (to date audits have been in Holland, Germany and the Netherlands). These audits follow a standard format. Candidates will also have scope to work on other projects (such as HS and E management systems, auditing, training or other subjects appropriate to their qualifications, skills and experience).
