Tunnel Design Engineer : East Grinstead : up to c£37,000pa + excellent benefits including private healthcare, share ownership scheme, childcare benefits and pension

This civil engineering team, which provides design services on a variety of major infrastructure projects in the tunnelling, rail and highway sectors within the UK and internationally, is seeking a high-potential Tunnel Design Engineer.

In this role you will provide support and advice on the design and delivery of a wide variety of tunnel and shaft designs, and there is potential to develop your career further within the company.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

? Civil engineering related degree, BEng level minimum, or equivalent, and either be Chartered or working towards Chartered status
? Broad appreciation of tunnel design with the ability to understand the wider picture in terms of M&E, environmental and other considerations.
? The ability to contribute to innovative solutions and be a persuasive advocate, as well as working as part of the team.
? Whilst previous tunnel site experience is desirable, it is not essential if the scope of your previous design experience is particularly wide ranging.
? Some ability to travel to client sites as required
