Technical Officer - Aintree - Liverpool - salary £10 - £11 per hour : temporary contract

The main purpose of the role will be to inspect homes belonging to the company and advise on any improvements or alterations that need to be undertaken.

Main Responsibilities of the role

-To provide a full technical service for the Agency
-To visit and inspect the homes of older people
-To prepare CAD drawings and schedules for tender (if you do not have CAD you will be required to learn it soon after your start with the company)
-To oversee building work and resolve disputes
-To carryout a final inspection and prepare snags
-To prepare all contract documentation for signing
-Make sure all file records are up to date

Qualifications.

The minimum requirements for the post of a Technical Officer are:

? OND/HND (or equivalent) in Building Construction.
? We will accept candidates who have achieved a degree in Building Construction or are working towards that degree.

It may also be possible for a candidate to have only a practical qualification e.g.: qualified as a carpenter, plumber or Clerk of Works etc. but who through career progression has taken on the role of a surveyor.
