Technical Author - Crawley : £30,000-£35,000pa + excellent benefits

An experienced Technical Author is required by this global company which provides complete system solutions for all types of fixed or rotary wing aircraft in the civil and military sectors.

Whilst previous Defence electronics experience would be an advantage, you must be able to fulfil the following criteria to be considered for this role:

? Educated to at least BTEC level in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
? Previous technical authoring experience, or equivalent practical authoring experience
? Fully conversant with the SGML standard, and some knowledge of Defence standards
? Excellent personal presentation, and good interpersonal and teamwork skills
? Some experience of Integrated Logistic Support would be useful
? Experience and good working knowledge of MS Office and DTP systems, together with SGML or HTML editing software
? The ability to work to demanding deadlines, including some unsocial hours, whilst retaining attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work as part of the team.

You must be eligible to work within the UK for this position, and have lived in the UK for the past three years for security clearance purposes.
