To undertake responsibility for the design of precast products, supervision of technicians and manufacturing input to factories. To ensure that all contracts meet the specific agreement set out in the tender specification and that cost allocations are met. To provide technical input and design management for building structures and related precast products. To be able to progress work with minimum level of supervision and to act on own initiative to achieve goals. Be able to supervise and take ownership of the work of other engineers and technicians.

Major Tasks
1. Develop designs at tender stage to a level sufficient for estimators to provide a firm price.
2. Communicate tender design information to designers and detailers on successful contracts.
3. Design of company products including supervising and checking the work of others.
4. Attend design team meetings internally and externally.
5. Direct report to Design manager.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience
