Service Engineer - Dundee

Salary £21.5k basic + offshore allowance + benefit.s f 00

Our client is looking for a time served electrician or mechanical fitter to join their team in Dundee. They are a global company with a focus on the oil and gas industry. This position is based at their Dundee premises but there is a requirement to travel to carry out breakdown or installation work both onshore and offshore. Time away will vary dependant on the task. Due to the workload demand overtime is regularly worked and therefore a commitment to support the company during peak times is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with compressors and generators as well as a demonstrable background in servicing and maintenance. Experience in electrical fault finding, reading schematic drawings, basic electrical testing, hydraulics and pneumatics is required. Full product training will be given as well as receiving the offshore survival course (BOSIET).
