Senior/ Principal Consultant / Leeds or London / Salary Neg Dep on Experience

Main duties of the role will include:

· Analyse rail development schemes / franchise bids / regulatory or fare changes

· Manage projects and proposals

· Liaise with clients and lead SDG project teams

Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Science / Engineering / Economics degree + MSc in Transport related discipline or equivalent
Analytical background with good understanding of rail industry.
Commercial experience in preparing proposals and managing projects
Articulate with good written and verbal reporting skills
Negotiation skills
The following skills / experience would be desirable but not essential:

· Degree in a numerate subject

· Experience of work on large rail based studies

· Experience in using MOIRA software

· Previous experience in working in a consultancy background and understanding of project management
